Hi, I guess?
It's almost 10 pm, the world is in shambles and I've decided to start a blog. Why? I'm not so sure myself. I'm not one to journal, I've been stuck in a writing block for well over a year and I have no idea how any of this works. But I somehow ran into Lilly Ashtons' blog entry urging readers to start a blog themselves (heres the post: https://lillyashton.blogspot.com/2026/01/you-are-going-to-start-blog-now.html) and here I am.
I have no expectations about any of this. Do I think I'll be able to maintain this blog and keep writing regularly? Probably not. Do I even know what I'll blog about? Nope. But I'm willing to give it a shot. I'll blog for me. I'll be my own reader. I still find the idea of just writing my own thoughts somewhat cringy, and I'll definetly struggle in the beginning (as I am now), but who knows. Maybe I'll post this and never post anything again. Maybe this will actually get me to pick up writing again.
Anyway, here goes nothing.
